🧡 Core Responsibilities:

📋 Volunteer Planning

• Collect volunteer needs for major PTO events

• Develop a recruitment plan (audience, outreach method, frequency)

• Create & maintain sign-up forms

• Willing to learn and be the subject matter expert on AACPS and CSPES volunteer background requirements

📢 Communication

• Provide volunteers with information before events

• Serve as point of contact during events:

• ✔️ Direct volunteers

• ✔️ Assign roles

• ✔️ Ensure supplies & support

• ✔️ Confirm everyone knows their tasks

✨ Important to Know

• 💬 Must be comfortable asking questions & pushing into conversations

• 👏 Build partnerships with parents, staff, and community members

• 📆 Attend monthly PTO meetings (committee meetings encouraged!)

• 👥 Willingness to build a support team for backups or shared tasks
