🧑‍💻 MCAP Testing

Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) tests student proficiency against state standards for grades 3 and up. These mandatory, end-of-year assessments evaluate academic progress and include performance tasks, with results influencing school accountability.

💡On MCAP Testing Days, please ensure:

🔋 Chromebooks are fully CHARGED before school starts
🎧 Students have CORDED headphones for MCAP ELA testing

NOTE:

All electronic devices, including phones, smartwatches, AI glasses, Bluetooth headphones, and AirPods, are prohibited during testing. Students will be required to place these devices in a designated area in the classroom. Any student who possesses or uses any of these devices during the test will have their assessment invalidated.
