Coats and water bottles go missing like socks in the dryer — and somehow, they all end up here! We do our best to reunite these lost treasures with their rightful owners.
Our Lost & Found is growing, and we need a few more volunteers to help keep things organized, photograph items, and manage monthly donations. Even a small amount of time can make a big impact.Â
🙌 If you’d like to join the Lost & Found team and help with photos, event tables, or donation drop-offs, please email Didi Pessu at eapessu@gmail.com.

📍 Where to Look
The Lost & Found is located in the vestibule of the cafeteria (the entry from the back door into the cafeteria).
📆 Clear-Out Dates
Unclaimed items are donated on the last school day of each month. Don’t wait too long — your child’s favorite hoodie could disappear!
âś… How to Claim an Item
If you see your child’s item in the photo album, email eapessu@gmail.com or stop by the Lost & Found table at events.
In your email, include:
Student name
Teacher/grade
Item description or claim number
About Claim Numbers:
Each item in the album is labeled, on a post it note, with a claim number (month, week, item #). Example: 10.01.03. Please include the claim number and a short description of the item in your email so we can quickly match it and return it to your child.
📦 Pickup & Delivery
Valuables (like earbuds or jewelry) must be picked up from the front office.
All other items will be delivered to your child’s classroom on the last school day of the week.
✍️ Label Everything!
The #1 way to make sure items find their way home is to label them clearly with your child’s name. Jackets, lunch boxes, water bottles, even shoes — if you’re wondering “Should this be labeled?” The answer is always: Label it!
🤝 Want to Help?
We’re building a Lost & Found Committee! Contact our lead volunteer, Didi Pessu at eapessu@gmail.com to get involved.
Thanks for Labeling!
A huge thank-you to the parents who have started labeling their children’s items, it truly makes a difference! Labeled items are finding their way home faster than ever. Please continue labeling everything, not just uniform pieces, but jackets, lunch boxes, and water bottles too.Â
If you’re wondering whether it should be labeled, the answer is always yes!
