Volunteer Expectations

Thank you for your interest in volunteering! 

To help maintain a safe and productive school environment, please follow these guidelines:

1. 📍 Stay in your assigned area.
   Volunteers should remain in the location of their assignment unless directed otherwise.
   
   

2. 🙌 Focus on your volunteer assignment.
   Volunteering does not provide general access to other areas of the school.
   
   

3. 👩‍🏫 Follow directions.
   Volunteers should follow the instructions of the Volunteer Lead and school staff. School staff instructions always supersede instructions from the Volunteer Lead. If there is any conflict or uncertainty, the Volunteer Lead should default to the direction of school staff.
   
   

4. 📵 Minimize disruptions.
   Please avoid activities that may distract students or interfere with normal school operations.
   
   

5. ❓ When in doubt, ask.
   Check with school staff before leaving your assigned area. Check with Volunteer Lead before doing something outside of your assigned responsibilities.
